The reality of our society
is masked in every social post,
but hit the comments,
and there it is.
The facade of joy, of perfection,
stripped away to raw values,
cynicism,
a whispering dark voice of truth.
Most of us, rotten, evil, cowards,
a few, maybe righteous, maybe worthy,
we hide behind governments,
but hell,
we are the governments,
the dark mass.
We live in glitter, a curated lie,
but in those comments,
raw and unrefined,
the mask slips,
the truth grins back.
